As partners in business and in life, Rita and Edgar bring to the table a wealth of creative experience, a positive attitude, humor, and a true desire to make a difference. Embracing the great community of Ormond Beach, Florida, as their home base, they have more than 40 years of combined experience ranging from breaking ground to the finished design.

Meet Edgar Taylor III, Co-Founder and Certified General Contractor of Nouveau International Design and Nouveau Homes and Development, and a trusted leader in luxury home construction with over 28 years of experience. A proud Ormond Beach resident who grew up in the community, Edgar brings deep-rooted local insight and a personal touch to every project. Known for his keen eye, attention to detail, and strong client relationships, he goes beyond building—he crafts timeless spaces where lasting memories are made. With a passion for excellence and a commitment to quality, Edgar ensures your vision is not only realized but elevated with sophistication and care.
Rita Narcisse, Principle Designer and CEO
Rita Narcisse, the visionary CEO of Nouveau International Design™, approaches each project with a unique touch, curating spaces as if she were to inhabit them herself. With over two decades of experience and a degree in both interior and fashion design, Rita is celebrated for her meticulous attention to detail and mastery of blueprints. Her portfolio, spanning from North East Florida to Southern California, reflects her commitment to telling each client's story through innovative luxury design. Collaborating closely with prominent builders and architects, Rita transforms floor plans into turnkey properties, infusing them with personalized touches that resonate with her clients' individuality. Beyond design, Rita draws inspiration from her global travels and enjoys city escapes with her husband and two daughters, savoring cultural experiences and ocean views over a glass of Cabernet.
Lara Fischer, Architectural Interior Designer
Lara Fischer is a highly skilled Architect and Interior Designer with a global perspective, shaped by her upbringing in Paris, France. With a deep appreciation for both classical and contemporary design, she has built an impressive career working on commercial and residential projects across the United States and internationally. Her expertise spans luxury interiors, innovative architectural solutions, and bespoke design concepts that seamlessly blend functionality with aesthetics. Lara’s experience includes collaborating with renowned firms and developers, bringing visionary spaces to life with a meticulous eye for detail and a passion for timeless, sophisticated design.
Maggie Freeman - Junior Designer
Maggie Freeman is proof that the best designers find their way to the
work through living it. A longtime resident of the Ormond Beach area, her
passion for design was sparked by remodeling her own home and never
stopped there. She is currently completing her design degree at Seminole
State College, graduating fall 2026, and she brings a hands-on energy to
the Nouveau team that shows up in everything she touches.
What makes Maggie an asset is her range. Elevations, 3D renderings,
procurement, spreadsheets — she steps into whatever the project needs
without hesitation. That kind of versatility is rare, especially paired with a
design sensibility that is entirely her own and a genuine enthusiasm for
the work that is impossible to miss.
She is building something here, and Nouveau's clients will be better for it
Julia Laoun - Junior Designer
Radiating with enthusiasm, Julia Laoun seeks to ensure aesthetic excellence within every project she takes on.
She enjoys balancing her contemporary style with unique textures, colors and assorted layers. Although an advocate for subtle sophistication, she loves utilizing eccentric pieces to elevate a space, and believes every house has the potential to become a home, she is excited to help navigate clients as they embark on a new life chapter!
